Howto testwatertemperature: Checkyourwatertemperaturewith a candyor meatthermometer.Turn on the hot waterfaucetnearestthe dishwasher.Putthe thermometerin

aglassand let thewaterrun continuouslyintothe glassuntilthe temperaturestopsrising.If the watertemperatureis below120°F., adjustyourwaterheater.

Helpfulhints:If outside temperaturesare unusuallylow,or if yourwatertravelsalong distance fromheaterto dishwasher,youmay needto set yourheater’sthermostat up. If youhavenotused hotwater for sometime,the waterin the

Here’showto fill the rinseagent dispenser.Unscrewthecap. Add the liquidritiseagentuntilitjust reachesthebottomofthelip inside the dispenseropening.Replacethe cap. Thedispenserautomatically releasesthe rinse agentintothe finalrinsewater.

If youaccidentiy spill:Wipe up the rinseagentwitha damp cloth. Don’tleavethe spillin the dishwasher.It cankeepyour detergentfromworking.

Second,checkthephosphate contentPhosphatehelpsprevent. hard-watermaterialshornforming spotsorfilmonyourdishes.If yourwaterishard(7grainsor more),yourdetergenthastowork harder.Detergentswitha higher phosphatelevelwillprobablywork better.Ifthephosphatecontentis low(8.7%orless),you’llhaveto useextradetergentwithhardwater.

Yourwaterdepartmentcan tell youhowhardyourwateris. So can yourrural countyagent.Or yourarea’swatersotiner company. Justcalland askthemhowmany “grains”of hardnessis in your water.

Howmuchdetergentshouldyou

use?Thatdepends.Is yourwater a “hard” or “sofi”?Withhard water, youneedextradetergentto get dishesclean. Withsoftwater,you @ needlessdetergent.
