Processor Jig

Removing the Heatspreader with Thermal Pad

To remove the heatspreader with thermal pad, complete the following steps:

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly.

2.Release and lift the keyboard.

3.Remove four screws from the heatspreader with thermal pad and lift out of the chassis.

When replacing the heatspreader, ensure that

NOTE: the thermal pad under the heatspreader is properly replaced.
