Processor Jig

Removing the Wedge to the Port Replicator Interface Board

To remove the Wedge to the Port Replicator Interface board, complete the following steps:

1.Prepare the computer for disassembly.

2.Disassemble the wedge.

3.Remove the

CD ROM Drive or the DVD Drive with shield attached from the unit.

4.Remove the Diskette Drive or the LS-120 Drive with shield attached from the unit.

5.Remove two

standoffs from the Wedge to the Port Replicator Interface board and lift the board from the unit.

To replace the Wedge to Port Replicator Interface board, reverse the previous procedures.
