7.Turn on the printer (or mopier).
Step 5. Verify That the Card Was Installed Correctly
1.Print another Printer Configuration Page (or Service Configuration print) as described previously in Step 3 and verify that JetDirect Configuration Page information also prints.
In HP LaserJet printers, a JetDirect Configuration Page will print for each EIO slot that contains an HP JetDirect card.
2.In the General Information section of the JetDirect Configuration Page, locate the message “I/O CARD READY”.
This section of the configuration page also contains product- specific information, such as:
■HP JetDirect product number
■Firmware revision number
■LAN Hardware (MAC) address
■Manufacturing identification number
