Overview

This chapter describes how to install the following options:

Peripheral Component Interconnect (PCI), accelerated graphics port (AGP), and Industry-Standard Architecture (ISA) expansion cards

System memory

Processor Slot 2 single-edge contact (Slot 2 SEC) cartridge

This chapter also includes instructions for replacing the system battery, if necessary.

The system accommodates up to six expansion cards, including 32-bit PCI expansion cards, an 8- or 16-bit ISA expansion card, and a 32-bit AGP card. (See Figure 9-2 for examples of these cards.)
