Replacing a Hard Disk Drive

NOTE: The replacement hard drive may not look exactly the same as the original drive due to different manufacturers or models. Hewlett-Packard always provides quality parts that meet or exceed your original computer specifications.

1Slide the replacement hard disk drive into the bay.

2Align the screw holes on the side of the hard drive with the holes marked “HDD” on the bay.

3Attach the two screws to secure the hard disk drive to the bay.

4Attach the power and data connectors to the back of the drive.
