Installing Applications

Install applications on your iPAQ Pocket PC from your:

■Computer by using Microsoft ActiveSync

■iPAQ Pocket PC if the application file has a .cab extension

■iPAQ Pocket PC or your computer by copying an application file that has an .exe or .cef extension

When installing applications, look for the correct version for your iPAQ model or Pocket PC 2003.

■Follow the instructions provided with the application and by the installation Wizard to install applications from your computer.

■Tap the application file in File Explorer on your iPAQ Pocket PC and follow the instructions on the installation Wizard to install applications on your device.

✎Your iPAQ Pocket PC is capable of handling large files and resizing photo images to screen size.

Using iPAQ Image Viewer

You can use the iPAQ Image Viewer to view images with .bmp,

.jpg, and .gif file extensions.

Using the Image Viewer, you can:

■Create a slide show of images

■Sort and rotate images

■Adjust the timing between images in a show

■Set a variety of transition effects
