You operate the OSD menus by using the buttons on the remote control or the TV; refer to the previous tables for descriptions of the buttons.
1Press the Source button to select the input signal source for the TV. The OSD menus and options that you see depend on the current input source.
2Press the Menu button to open the OSD. The available menus appear as a list.
3Press the direction buttons (the arrow buttons on the remote control, or the Channel and Volume buttons on the TV) to highlight the menu that you want, and then press the OK button on the remote control, or the Select button on the TV.
4Press the direction buttons to move within the menu and highlight an option, and then press the OK button on the remote control, or the Select button on the TV, to move into the option.
5Continue using the direction buttons to highlight and adjust an item, and the OK button or the Select button to enter the change. To move out of an option, or to move up one menu level, press the Back button on the remote control, or the Source button on the TV.
6When you are finished, press the Menu button to close the OSD.
The OSD menus are:
■Picture
■Audio
■Channel
■Parental (Control)
■Setup (including Closed Caption)
When you open the OSD, the SimpleMenu displays. The SimpleMenu is the list of the most frequently used menu items:
■Picture■Mode: Standard, Studio Vibrant, User
■Color Temp: Cool, Standard, Warm
■Aspect Ratio: Auto, 16:9, 4:3, Zoom1, Zoom2, Panarama
■PC: Auto Sync
■Audio■Mode: Voice, Standard, Music, User
■Auto Volume: On/Off■Virtual Surround: Off, Theater, Music Hall
■Speaker: On/Off■Setup■Caption: On/Off/On Mute
■Default Settings (reset)To see the full list of OSD menus, you must select the Full Menu.
Selecting the Full MenuTo select the Full Menu, you must enter a passcode using the remote control buttons:
1Press Menu to open the OSD menus.
2Press the Down Arrow button to select Setup, and then press OK. The Setup menu opens with Caption highlighted.
3Press the following remote control buttons in order: MTS, 7, 0, 4.
The Full Menu OSD displays.
The Full Menu becomes default and displays even after turning off the TV.
Selecting the SimpleMenuTo display the SimpleMenu:
1Press Menu to open the OSD menus.
2Press the Down Arrow button to select SimpleMenu, and then press OK.
The SimpleMenu displays.
The SimpleMenu becomes the default and displays even after turning off the TV.
