Serviceguard services; SLVM cannot operate outside a Serviceguard environment. SLVM is included

 

in the HP Serviceguard Extension for RAC product.

VxFS

Veritas File System: Online JFS from HP, which provides add-on functionalities that substantially

 

increases the availability of a journaled file system used by applications and end users.

 

 

VxVM

Veritas Volume Manager: Provides advanced volume management functionality for HP-UX and builds

 

an infrastructure for Cluster File System supporting Serviceguard and Disaster Tolerance.
