Details Tab
This window lists details of some components for this controller:
■Monitor, Kernel, BIOS versions—These are the version numbers of the different software components loaded on the controller. For some controllers all three components may not be present.
■Hardware version—The revision level of the controller hardware.
■Processor type and speed—Information about the processor fitted on the controller. This information is not available on some controllers.
Channel Properties
Select a channel and then click Properties to bring up a dialog box with a single tab containing the following information:
■Type—Indicates whether the selected channel is SCSI, ATA or Serial ATA.
■Max data rate—The highest rate at which this channel can transfer data, for example, 320 MB/s.
Physical Device Properties
If you select a device on a channel (other than an enclosure) and then select Properties, a window with General, Capacity, SMART, and LED tabs will appear.
General Tab
■Status—This field appears only for disk drives and it indicates the current status of the drive. Possible values are: Optimal, Failed, Phantom (not physically found), SMART Warning, Unknown and Missing.
■Type—The class of device; for example: disk drive, CD-ROM, scanner, or printer.
■Product—The name given to this device by its vendor.
■Vendor—The manufacturer of this device.
