DANGER
•TurnthekeyswitchtotheOFFpositionbeforefueling.
•Donotpourfuelintothefueltankwhentheengineishotorwhileitisrunning.
•Toavoidelectricarccausedbystaticelectricity,thefuelstorage/pumpingdevicemustbegrounded.If
thepumpisnotgrounded,thevehiclemustbegroundedtothepumpbeforeandduringthefueling
operation.
•Toavoidthepossibilityofre,cleanupanyspilledfuelbeforeoperatingthevehicle.
1.Removethefuelcapandllthetankwithfuel.Gasolinevehicleshaveablackfuelcap;dieselvehicleshavea
greenfuelcap.SeeprecedingDANGERandfollowingNOTE.
NOTE:Gasolinevehicles:Useunleadedgasolineonly.Wheneverpossible,avoidusingoxygenatedfuelsandfuels
thatareblendedwithalcohol.
Dieselvehicles:Useonlydieselfuelgradeno.2withacetaneratingof45orhigher.
2.Replacethefuelcap.Ensurethatthecapistightenedsecurely.
3.Cleananyspilledfuelfromthecaporaroundthefuelcaparea.
