formatting
is
complete,
you
can
drag
and
drop
files
to
the
Multi-Burner
drive
icon,
or
you
can
move
files
in
Windows
Explorer.
To
make
CD-R
and
DVD-R
media
compatible
in
other
computers:
1.
Double-click
My
Computer.
Right-click
the
Multi-Burner
drive
letter.
2.
Click
Make
Compatible.
To
use
UDF
formatted
DVD-RAM,
DVD-RW,
or
CD-RW
media
in
other
computers,
a
UDF
reader
is
included
on
the
User’s
Guide
and
Software
Super
CD.
To
use
the
UDF
reader,
follow
this
procedure:
1.
Insert
the
User’s
Guide
and
Software
Super
CD
into
the
CD
or
DVD
drive
of
the
computer
you
want
to
use
the
UDF
formatted
discs
with.
2.
Click
Start.
3.
Click
Run.
4.
Type
e:\UDF\language
where
e
is
the
drive
letter
of
the
CD
or
DVD
drive,
and
language
is
your
language.
5.
Click
OK.
6.
Double-click
SETUP.EXE
and
follow
the
on-screen
instructions.
Note:
The
UDF
reader
is
only
needed
on
systems
that
do
not
have
another
DLA
program
installed.
Note:
DVD+R
media
cannot
be
appended.
Using
the
RecordNow
software
RecordNow
allows
you
to
record
Audio
CDs,
Data
CDs,
and
copy
existing
CDs.
Detailed
information
about
using
RecordNow
is
included
in
the
RecordNow
help.
You
can
access
RecordNow
help
by
pressing
F1
in
the
RecordNow
menu.
To
start
RecordNow
in
Windows
Me
or
Windows
2000,
select
StartProgramsIBM
RecordNow.
To
start
RecordNow
in
Windows
XP,
select
StartAll
ProgramsRecordNow.
Once
RecordNow
is
started,
select
one
of
the
following
three
processes.
v
Make
an
exact
copy:
Select
this
to
back
up
your
own
CDs,
or
make
copies
of
CDs
you
have
previously
created.
After
you
select
this
option,
RecordNow
will
prompt
you
to
insert
your
disc
to
be
copied,
and
then
will
prompt
you
when
to
insert
a
blank
disc.
v
Make
a
music
disc:
Select
this
option
to
create
an
audio
CD.
The
second
screen
will
ask
if
you
want
to
make
an
audio
CD
from
MP3
and
Wave
files
on
your
hard
disk,
or
from
other
audio
CDs.
There
is
also
a
selection
to
make
a
disc
for
an
MP3
player,
which
is
a
specially
formatted
data
disc
that
can
be
played
in
a
stand-alone
MP3
player.
v
Make
a
data
disc:
Select
this
option
to
create
a
disc
containing
data
files
from
your
hard
disc.
RecordNow
will
ask
whether
you
want
to
format
the
disc
for
DLA
or
make
a
data
disc
for
sharing
with
others.
RecordNow
will
prompt
you
to
insert
a
blank
disc.
Then
a
screen
will
appear
that
will
enable
you
to
drag-and-drop
files,
or
browse
to
find
files
on
your
hard
disk.

Once
RecordNow
is
started,
you
can
also
perform
special
operations:
Clicking
on
the
Favorites
button
will
allow
you
to
load
a
previously
saved
audio,
data,
MP3,
or
CD
image
to
burn
a
new
copy.
