Chapter 10. Troubleshooting your CGI programs
You can use the Workwith Active Jobs (WRKACT JOB) command to check on the
status of server jobs, as follows:
WRKACTJOB SBS(QHTTPSVR) JOB(server_instance)
When the server is not processing a request, the Work withActive Jobs display
might be similar to Figure 1:
To find out if server jobs have ended abnormally, check the spooled files that
contain the job logs (QPJOBLOG) for the user profile QTMHHTTP.
The symptoms that are described in this section would be seen running a request
to the AS/400 server at a browser.
Symptom
Connection abandoned, dropped, or no data sent.
Note: Different browser issues different messages when no data is returned to the
browser. Abandoned, droppedor no data will be displayed at the browser.
Cause: The system has incorrectly formatted a CGI program that writes data to
standard output. The data that is written to stdout may have one of the following
problems:
vNo data written to stdout
vNo Content-type,Location,orStatusline
