3.5 “Advanced”

There are Preamble Type, Fragmentation Threshold, and RTS/CTS Threshold setting under this mode.

uPreamble Type (Short/Long): Preamble is the first subfield of PPDU, which is the appropriate frame format for transmission to PHY (Physical layer). There are two options, Short Preamble and Long Preamble. The Short Preamble option improves throughput performance.

uFragmentation Threshold: The size at which packets will be fragmented. Choose a setting within a range of 256 to 2346 bytes.

uRTS Threshold: Minimum packet size to require an RTS (Request To Send). For packets smaller than this threshold, an RTS is not sent and the packet is transmitted directly to the WLAN. This is the option for the RTS Threshold activation.

3.6 “Version”

It shows the current Driver, Firmware, and Application Version of this device.
