z/OS Capacity provisioning allows you to set up rules

The rules are based on criteria, such as: a specifi c application, the maximum additional capacity that should be activated, time and workload conditions. This support provides a fast response to capacity changes and ensures suffi cient processing power will be available with the least possible delay even if workloads fl uctuate.
