Power Management

This category allows the user to select the type (or degree) of power saving related to the following modes:

1.HDD Power Down

2.Doze Mode

3.Suspend Mode

There are four selections for Power Management, three of which have fixed mode settings.

Disable (default)

No power management. Disables all four modes

Min. Power Saving

Minimum power management

 

z Doze Mode = 1 hr.

 

z Standby Mode = 1 hr.

 

z Suspend Mode = 1 hr.

 

z HDD Power Down = 15 min.

Max. Power Saving

z

Maximum power management -- ONLY

z Doze Mode = 1 min.

 

z Standby Mode = 1 min.

 

z Suspend Mode = 1 min.

 

z HDD Power Down = 1 min.

User Defined

z Allows the user to set each mode individually.

 

z If it’s not disabled, each of the ranges is from 1

 

 

min. to 1 hr. except for HDD Power Down whose

Video Off Method

This determines the manner of how the monitor becomes blank.

V/H SYNC+Blank

This selection will cause the system to turn

 

off the vertical and horizontal synchronization

 

ports and write blanks to the video buffer.

Blank Screen

This option only writes blanks to the video

 

buffer.

DPMS

Initial display power management signaling.

Video Off In Suspend

This determines the manner in which the monitor is blanked. The choice: Yes, No.
