The Controls
Indicator Lamp | The indicator lamp turns orange during a drying programme when
| the water container is full. When this happens, you must empty the | |
| water container. The programme goes directly to the cooling phase | |
| and the dryer stops. The orange light warns you that the load will not | |
| be dried correctly. Empty the water container and start the | |
| programme again by pressing the start button. | |
| At the end of the drying programme if the water container has filled | |
| the indicator lamp will glow red. A programme cannot be started | |
| when the lamp is red. | |
| The indicator lamp goes off (or turns green if a programme is | |
| running) a few seconds after the empty water container has been put | |
| back. |
|
| If this light flashes it shows that an automatic programme has | |
| exceeded 180 minutes. For safety reasons this being the maximum | |
| drying time available. | |
| Should this occur, the causes may be: | |
| ● | The load is too big, or bulky. |
| ● | The filter is blocked. |
| ● | A cotton load was spun at LOW speed. |
| ● | There may be a fault. |
| Turn the dryer Off, check through the first three causes, and then try | |
| again. | |
Cool Tumble | About 10 minutes before the programme is completed, the heating
phase | elements will be switched off, and the programme enters the final
| ‘Cool Drying’ phase. During this phase, the fabric is cooled. You | |
| should always allow the dryer to complete this phase. | |
| By opening the door, you can check the dryness of the load as often | |
| as you wish and if you want remove some items before they are fully | |
| dry. (This is particularly useful for a mixed load where you want to iron | |
| some items, but others to be fully dried.) | |
| You will need to press the START button after closing the door to | |
|
| |
Crease Care | At the end of the drying programme it may not be convenient to take
phase | out the clothes immediately. Do not worry, the dryer will protect your
| clothes from creasing by gently turning them over occasionally by | |
| means of a few revolutions of the drum. At the same time, if you have | |
| not cancelled the Alarm (Buzzer) a warning buzz will sound | |
| intermittently to remind you that the clothes are ready to take out. |
