Playing from an external device

To play from an external device:

1Make sure that an external device is connected to your shelf system. For more information, see “Connecting an external audio device” on page 19.

2Turn on your shelf system, then press FUNCTION to select LINE. Sound from the device plays through your shelf system’s speakers.

Adjusting the volume

To adjust the volume:

•Press VOL+/ or VOL–/ to increase or decrease the volume. VOLUME and the current volume setting appear on the LCD.

•Press MUTE to turn off the sound. MUTE blinks on the LCD. Press MUTE, VOL+/, or VOL–/ to turn the sound back on.

Selecting the equalizer mode

To select the equalizer mode:

•Press SOUND repeatedly. You can select FLAT, JAZZ, POP, CLASSIC, or ROCK.
