CD does not play

• Make sure that the disc label is facing

 

out.

 

• Make sure that the disc is mounted

 

correctly on the spindle.

 

• Make sure that the disc is not dirty or

 

defective.

 

• Make sure that the CD door is

 

completely closed.

 

• If moisture or condensation has

 

accumulated inside your shelf system,

 

let your shelf system warm up for 60

 

minutes so the liquid evaporates.

 

• Press FUNCTION to select CD.

 

 

No sound from the headphones

• Make sure that the headphone plug is

 

connected securely to the PHONE

 

jack.

 

 

No sound from the device

• Make sure that the external device is

connected to the LINE IN jack

connected correctly and securely.

 

• Press FUNCTION to select LINE.

 

 

Sound is intermittent

• Make sure that the disc is not dirty or

 

defective.

 

• Make sure that the pick-up lens is not

 

dirty.

 

• Make sure that your shelf system is

 

not subjected to excessive vibration or

 

shock.

 

• Make sure that the headphones, if you

 

are using them, are connected

 

securely.

 

 

iPod® does not play

• Make sure that you have connected

 

the iPod® correctly and securely. You

 

must use the correct iPod® holder

 

when you connect the iPod®.

 

• Press FUNCTION to select iPOD®.

Static or noise when playing the

• Make sure that the station is tuned

radio

correctly and that the station has a

 

good signal.

 

• Try another station.

 

• If you are playing an AM station, rotate

 

your shelf system to improve the

 

reception.

 

• If you are playing an FM station,

 

extend the antenna wire to improve

 

the reception.
