Turning your boombox on and off

To turn your boombox on and off:

1Slide the Function switch to RADIO to listen to radio or to CD to play to a CD.

2Slide the Function switch to OFF to turn off your boombox.

Listening to the radio

To listen to the radio:

1Make sure the Function switch is in the RADIO position.

2Slide the Band switch to AM or FM.

3Rotate the TUNING control to select a radio station.

4If necessary, rotate the VOLUME control to adjust the volume.

Improving reception

To improve radio reception:

•AM reception–Rotate your boombox until the signal is clear.

•FM reception–Extend the FM antenna, then rotate it until the signal is clear.
