Cleaning your boombox

To clean your boombox, follow these guidelines:

•Use a soft, clean cloth moistened with plain, luke-warm water to clean the exterior of your boombox.

•Never use solvents such as benzene or other strong chemical cleaners because these could damage your boombox’s finish.

•Do not let liquid drip into the inside of your boombox.

Cleaning the lens

If a CD skips during playback or does not play at all, the lens may be dirty.

To clean the lens:

1Open the CD door.

2Use a camera lens brush/blower to blow dirt off of the lens, then brush the lens to remove dirt and dust.

3Blow on the lens again.

4If the lens is still dirty, use a cotton swab to wipe the lens. Start in the middle of the lens and work to the outside edge.
