Tuning the TV

To tune the TV:

1With the TV on, press the MENU button twice. The TUNING menu opens.

2Press the NAVIGATION button to select each of the following tuning options, then press TV CHANNEL UP or DOWN to change the setting:

•CHANNEL—Choose the channel you want to be affected by the tuning changes.

•TV MODE—Choose from AIR or CABLE.

•FINE TUNE—To fine tune the selected channel’s reception.

•MANUAL TUNE—To tune through the channels manually.

•AUTO SCAN—See “Programming TV channels into memory” on page 13.

•CHANNEL SWAP—To swap the channels tuned in to different channel locations.

Watching a DVD

To watch a DVD:

1Swing the LCD screen down into viewing position and turn the screen to a convenient viewing angle.

2Press the POWER button to turn on the player.

3Press the FUNCTION button one or more times until “DVD” appears on the display.

4Press the OPEN/CLOSE button on the radio to open the disc tray.

5Place the DVD with the label side up into the disc tray, then press the OPEN/CLOSE button again to close the tray.

6Press the PLAY/PAUSE/MEM UP button on the radio, or press the

MEM-UP button on the remote to begin playback.

Press the following buttons on the remote control to control DVD playback.
