INSTALLING AND REMOVING A SEATING SYSTEM

WARNING

DO NOT use parts, accessories, or adapters other than those authorized by Invacare. Otherwise, the warranty is void.

1.Ensure that the seating system is compatible with this wheelchair.

2.Refer to the seating system Owner's Manual for installation and removal.

REMOVING/INSTALLING THE SPREADER BAR (FIGURE 8)

REMOVING

1.Loosen, but DO NOT remove the set screw on each spreader bar clamp.

2.Remove the spreader bar from the back canes.

INSTALLING

1.If necessary, loosen, but do not remove the set screw on each spreader bar clamp.

2.Place the spreader bar clamps flush against the back canes.

NOTE: When positioning the clamps flush against the back canes, ensure the spreader bar is parallel to the ground/floor.

3.Tighten the set screw on each spreader bar clamp to secure the spreader bar to the back canes.
