NOTE:Everysixmonthsorasnecessarytakeyourreclinertoaqualifieddealerforathorough
inspectionandservicing.Regularcleaningwillreveallooseorwornpartsandenhancethesmooth
operationofyourrecliner.Tooperateproperlyandsafely,yourrecline rmustbecaredfor
appropriatelyasanyothervehicle.Routinemaintenancewillextendthelifeandefficiencyofyour
recliner.

Safety Inspection Checklists

CAUTION
As with any transport device, casters should be checked periodically for cracks and
wear and should be replaced as necessary.
Initialadjustmentsshouldbemadetosuityourpersonalbodystructureneedsand
preference.Thereafterfollowthesemaintenanceprocedures:
Inspect/Adjust Initially
Ensurethatthereclinerrollsstraight(noexcessivedragorpulltooneside).
Ensureseat,backand/orarmrestupholsteryhavenoripsanddonotsag.Replaceif
necessary.
Ensurethattheseatupholsteryisfastenedtotheseatframe.
Cleanseatupholsteryandarmrests.
Inspectcasterassemblytoensureithaspropertensionwhencasterisspun.Caster
shouldcometoagradualstop.
Loosen/tightencasterlocknutifwheelwobblesnoticeablyorbindstoastop.
Ensurethatthecasterassemblyisfreefromdebris.
Inspectforanyloosehardwareontherecliner.
Checkthatalllabelsarepresentandlegible.Replaceifnecessary.

Inspect/Adjust Weekly

Ensurethatthecasterassemblyisfreeofdebris.
