SECTION 2—SAFETY INSPECTIONNOTE:Everysixmonthsorasnecessarytakeyourreclinertoaqualifieddealerforathorough
inspectionandservicing.Regularcleaningwillreveallooseorwornpartsandenhancethesmooth
operationofyourrecliner.Tooperateproperlyandsafely,yourrecline rmustbecaredfor
appropriatelyasanyothervehicle.Routinemaintenancewillextendthelifeandefficiencyofyour
recliner.
Safety Inspection Checklists
CAUTION
As with any transport device, casters should be checked periodically for cracks and
wear and should be replaced as necessary.
Initialadjustmentsshouldbemadetosuityourpersonalbodystructureneedsand
preference.Thereafterfollowthesemaintenanceprocedures:
Inspect/Adjust Initially
❑Ensurethatthereclinerrollsstraight(noexcessivedragorpulltooneside).
❑Ensureseat,backand/orarmrestupholsteryhavenoripsanddonotsag.Replaceif
necessary.
❑Ensurethattheseatupholsteryisfastenedtotheseatframe.
❑Cleanseatupholsteryandarmrests.
❑Inspectcasterassemblytoensureithaspropertensionwhencasterisspun.Caster
shouldcometoagradualstop.
❑Loosen/tightencasterlocknutifwheelwobblesnoticeablyorbindstoastop.
❑Ensurethatthecasterassemblyisfreefromdebris.
❑Inspectforanyloosehardwareontherecliner.
❑Checkthatalllabelsarepresentandlegible.Replaceifnecessary.
❑FORIH6077AONLY‐Ensurethatthetriggerreleasecablescompletelyreleaseandthe
handlesreturnwhenreleased.
❑FORIH6077AONLY‐Inspectthegascylindersforleakingoil.
Inspect/Adjust Weekly
❑Ensurethattheseatupholsteryisfastenedtotheseatframe.
❑Ensureseat,backand/orarmrestupholsteryhavenoripsanddonotsag.Replaceif
necessary.
❑Ensurethatthecasterassemblyisfreeofdebris.
