Service Information

Afterthefirstsixmonthsofoperation,inspectallpivotpointsandfastenersforwear.If
themetalisworn,thepartsMUSTbereplaced.Makethisinspectioneverysixmonths
thereafter.
Regularmaintenanceofthemobilereclinerandaccessoriesisnecessarytoassureproper
operation.

Operation Information

Checkallpartsforshippingdamage.Incaseofdamage,DONOTuse.ContactCarrier/
Dealerforfurtherinstructions.
ALWAYSkeephandsandfingersclearofmovingpartstoavoidinjury.
DONOTusenearanopenflameorheatsource,asallupholsterymaterials,eventhough
treatedwithflameretardant,canignitewhenexposedtoopenflame.
RearcasterwheelsMUSTbelockedduringusertransfertoorfromreclinerandwhile
tiltingand/orrecliningorinclining(sittingup).
Ensurethatcastersarefreeofdebris.
Castersandaxleboltsrequireinspectioneverysixmonthstocheckfortightnessandwear.
DONOTenterorexitthereclinerwhenfootrestiselevated.
DONOTsitonthefootrestwhenreclinerisextended.Thereclinerwilltipandbodily
injurymayoccur.
DONOTpushorpullfootresttopositiontherecliner.
DONOTstandonthefootplates.Whengettinginoroutofthewheelchair,makesurethat
thefootplatesareintheupwardpositionorswingthefootreststowardstheoutsideofthe
wheelchair.
DONOTplacehandsorfeetintoanyopeningswhenadjustingtherecliner.Attendantor
careprovidershouldalwaysverifyplacementofuser’shandsandfeetpriortoadjusting
therecliner.Failuretodosomayresultinseriousbodilyinjury.
