Safety
Various safety features have been incorporated into the
Invacare®Power Tiger™chair:
•Automatic motor locks
•Manually operated wheel locks
•On-demand dynamic braking
•Closed-loop system for smoother drive
•Two (2) locking cylinders for additional safety during tilt
•Two (2) separate release handles prevent accidental
release of the seat
•Special proximity switch that won’t allow operation
when seat is tilted too far (beyond 15°)
•Charger lockout prevents driving while connected to
a charger
•Slam Braking stops chair instantly in emergencies
•Frame depth telescopes to provide stability for deeper
seats
