Maximum Speed Indicator

This is a gauge that shows the maximum speed setting of the wheelchair. There are five speed settings: - step 1 is the lowest speed and step 5 is the highest speed

Mode Switch - Speed Settings

The mode switch is used to make the maximum speed changes and to change between wheelchair operation modes.

If the mode switch is operated whilst you are driving the maximum speed setting will be increased by one step. Each successive operation of the mode switch will increase the setting, when the setting is at 5 the next mode switch operation will put the setting to 1. The diagram below explains this action.

Operating the mode switch will put the control system backintothedrivemode..

If the mode switch is operated when the joystick is centred,, tthe controll system operationti mode wiilll be changed. There are tthree modes - drive, speed adjustment and actuatorr adjustment.. TThe diagram below explains this action.
