Normal Playback

1 Load a memory card ( pg. 11).

2 Set the VIDEO/MEMORY Switch t to

“MEMORY”, then set the Power Switch @ to “ ” while pressing down the Lock Button $.

• A stored file is displayed.

3 Select the type of file as necessary (IMAGE or E-MAIL CLIP):

Press SELECT/SET 3. Press + or – 5 to select the type of file, then press SELECT/SET 3 again.

4 IMAGE: Turn the SHUTTLE SEARCH Ring # clockwise (3) to display the next image, or counterclockwise (2) to display the previous image. E-MAIL CLIP: Press 4/6 ! to view video clips. To stop video clip playback, press 5 7.

To Magnify The Stored Images

Press the Zoom Button T Y on the remote control to zoom in (up to 50X*/80X**), or W T to zoom out. You can also magnify a particular part of an image

( pg. 39).

By pressing 4/6 !, INDEX 1, INFO 6 or turning the SHUTTLE SEARCH Ring 2/3 # magnifica- tion is cancelled.

NOTES:

Pressing INFO 6 gives you details on the displayed file ( pg. 19, “Viewing File Information”).

You can also overview several files at a time ( pg. 19, “Index Playback”).

You can turn off the on-screen playback display ( pg. 19, “Removing On-Screen Display”).

Images shot in a file size that is not compatible with this camcorder will be displayed as reduced-size thumbnail images. These thumbnail images cannot be transferred to a PC.

Images shot with devices (such as JVC GR-DVX70) that are not compatible with DCF cannot be viewed with this camcorder; “UNSUPPORTED FILE!”￿will be displayed.
