•Turn on the VCR and the TV, and select the AV mode on the TV.

•Set the [VCR/TV/CABLE/DBS] selector on the Remote to [VCR].

Press [TIMER (j)], then press [POWER].

•When “AUTO TIMER” (A page 66) is set to “ON”, you do not have to press [TIMER (j)].

2 Access Program List screen

Press [PROG. CHECK]. PROGRAM CHECK

press [CANCEL], then

EXIT START STOP DATE CH

 

press [OK].

 

•“PROGRAM CANCELED” appears on the screen, then press [OK] to return to the program list.

To change a program, press the appropriate button: [START+/–], [STOP+/–], [DATE+/–], [TV/VCR CH+/ –], [DAILY] (number [8]), [WEEKLY] (number [9]) and/or [REC SPEED], then press [OK].

•“PROGRAM COMPLETED PRESS [TIMER] TO ENTER TIMER STANDBY MODE” appears on the screen, then press [OK] to return to the program list.

3 Return to normal screen

Press [PROG. CHECK].

4 Reengage timer recording standby mode

Press [TIMER (j)].

• When “AUTO TIMER” (A page 66) is set to

“ON”, the timer recording standby mode

automatically resumes when you turn off the

•The clock must be set to access the program list.

•If you have not set the clock, the Main Menu screen appears after an error message is displayed. Refer to page 17 for the clock setting procedure.
