Select The Soundtrack
Your VCR can record two soundtracks simultaneously (Normal
and Hi-Fi) and play back the selected one, or both together. Or,
when viewing a pre-recorded tape that contains both a main
and a sub audio track, you can choose to listen to either one by
selecting either "L" or "R" in step 4.

your choice by pressing CH5∞.
●The indicator on the front display panel representing
the mode you selected lights up (Hi-Fi: L+R; L: L; R:R;
NORM: No display; MIX: L+R).

Press MENU as many times as necessary.
NOTE:
If the tape being played back has no Hi-Fi soundtrack, the
Normal soundtrack will be heard no matter what choice you
make at the Audio Monitor screen.
