System Connections
Connecting/Using a stereo system (HR-J585EU only)
You can listen to the soundtrack through your stereo system. Connect the AUDIO OUT L and R connectors on the recorder to the AUX IN or TAPE MONITOR connectors on your stereo system’s receiver or amplifier.
●When listening to sound through the connected stereo system, turn the TV’s volume down completely.
Subsidiary Settings
Child Lock
You can disable the recorder’s operations. While the recorder is turned on, press 
. “SAFE” appears on the screen.
To release the child lock, press 
on the remote control until the power indicator blinks on the display panel.
●If any buttons on the recorder are pressed, “SAFE” appears on the screen and the power indicator blinks on the display panel.
NOTES:
●When the child lock function is in use, keep the remote control out of the children’s reach.
●Timer recording programs will be performed even if the child lock function activated.
