1STANDBY/ON Button turns recorder on/off

(loading a cassette also turns power on).

2Cassette Loading Slot is where cassette is inserted; door closes, "cassette loaded" mark

lights up on front display panel.

3DISPLAY Button switches display between clock time, tape remaining time, counter readings, preset position*. ☞ pg. 11

*Preset position is not displayed during playback.

4 Rewind [REW] Button rewinds the tape ☞ pg. 8; initiates high-speed reverse search. ☞ pg. 9
