The PAL - NTSC - REMOTE selector is factory preset to “PAL.” Set the selector to “PAL” or “NTSC” to match the color system of your TV (see also the NOTES below).

•If you set the PAL- NTSC - REMOTE selector on the rear panel to “PAL” and hold down the VFP - PROGRESSIVE SCAN button on the remote control unit so that the Progressive scanning mode is activated (the PROGRESSIVE indicator on the display window turns on), picture may be distorted or no picture may appear on the TV screen.
When you connect the unit to a TV with the SCART connector, set the RGB/COMP. - Y/C selector correctly according to your TV.
