Notes for inserting and removing memory cards

Before you insert a memory card into a card slot, open the door on the front panel and make sure of the slot type and the direction of insertion as illustrated.

Always use the single type of memory card at a time.

Before removing a memory card during playback, stop the playback.

When playing back a disc, the electrostatic noise may restart the playback from the beginning.

When inserting or removing a memory card, hold the player firmly.

While a memory card is inserted, keep the door on the front panel open.

Close the door after removing memory cards.

NOTE

Make sure that the TV - DVD switch on the

TV DVD remote control unit is set to “DVD” when using the 5//2/3 and numeric buttons for controlling the player.

Basic operations

When you insert a disc or memory card with groups and files, the Control display that shows the contents of the medium automatically appears on the TV screen.

You can specify and play back the desired group/file from the Control display using the following procedure.

1 Make sure that the cursor bar is in the left (group) column on the Control display.

If you want to select the other medium while both a disc and memory cards are inserted, press DVD/CARD before starting playback. When the player accesses a memory card, the DVD/CARD lamp on the front panel lights up
