A method of checking the correct cut- ting depth is to lay a piece of the material you plan to cut along the side of the blade and observe how much tooth projects beyond the material.

BEVEL ANGLE ADJUSTMENT

Disconnect plug from power supply before making any adjustments to the tool.

The full range of bevel adjustment is from 0 to 45 DEGREES. The quadrant is graduated in increments of 5 degrees.

LOCK

On the front of the saw is a bevel angle adjustment mechanism consisting of a cali- brated quadrant and a knob.

To set the saw for a bevel cut, turn the bevel adjustment knob counterclockwise to loosen, and tilt shoe to the desired angle by aligning the pointer with the desired angle mark. Retighten knob firmly by turning it clockwise.

LASER GUIDE

Use of controls or procedures, or performance of proce- dures other then those specified herein may result in hazardous radiation exposure.

LASER SAFETY

NEVER LOOK INTO THE LASER BEAM. Any contact with the eyes by the beam could cause injury. Do not use the laser when cutting reflective materials.

DO NOT AIM THE LASER BEAM AT ANYONE OR AT REFLECTIVE SURFACES. CLASS 2M LASER PRODUCT. Any contact with the eyes by the beam could cause injury. Ensure the laser beam is turned on only when the tool is on a non- reflective workpiece and as such it is aimed only at the work surface. Metals and other materials like steel which can be highly reflective should only be cut with- out the use of the laser.

STORE OUT OF REACH OF CHILDREN. Equipment should be in a high location or locked up to keep out of reach of children. It is not a toy.

DO NOT TAMPER WITH THE LASER OUTPUT. Changing the performance of the laser to increase its output is prohibited. Any claim for damages or injuries resulting from not following these instructions will be refused.
