Setting Convection Roast
The CONV ROAST \Ro_st;pad isdesigned to give optimum cooking performance for this feature. The Convection Roast
pad combines a cook cycle with the convection fanand element to roast meats and poultry. Preheating isnot necessary
for meats and poultry. The oven can be programmed to convection roast at any temperature from t70°F to550°F (77°C to
288°C). This oven isequipped with multiple fan speeds for better cooking results. Heated air circulates around the food
from all sides, sealing injuices and flavors. Foods are crispy brown on the outside while staying moist on the inside.
INSTRUCTIONS PRESS DISPLAY
To Set the oven to Convection Roast at 350°F (177°C)
1. Arrange interior oven racksand place food inoven.

2. Press _.8o_.t. will appearand "UPPER", "ROAST" and
"CONV" will flash in the display (Figure t).
3. Press "UPPER", "ROAST" and "CONV" will stop flashing
and the oven iconwill appear and the rotating fan will startrunning in
thedisplay. The bake (Figure 2)and broil (Figure 3) and convection
(Figure 4) element iconswill show intermittently inthe display indicating
which element ison. A beep will soundwhen thedesired temperature is
reached.
Press _ to cancel Convection Roast at any time.

The CONV CONVERT _,v#_ _'_ is used toautomatically convert a standard baking recipe for convection baking. When
set properly,this feature isdesigned to display theactual converted (reduced) temperature in display.Convection Convert
may ONLY be used with a Cony Bake, Timed Bake ora Delay Start (Delayed Timed Bake) setting. When used with a
Timed Bake or aDelayed Timed Bake setting, the Convection Convert feature will display a "OF"for check foodwhen the
bake time is 75% complete. At this time theoven control will sound one long beep at regular intervals until baking has
finished. When the bake time has completely finished the control will display "End" and willsound 3 long beeps every 30
seconds untilthe ('_ pad is pressed.
Using Convection Convert (Bake) feature to automatically adjustoven temperature (example: setting oven for 350°F):
t. Arrange interior oven racks and place food in oven. Ifa Timed Bakeor
aDelayed Start (Delayed Timed Bake) isdesired, enter the times now.

2...... ,._k_ , will appear, "UPPER", "BAKE" and "CONV" will
flash inthe display (Figure 5).
3. Press d_c°_>."UPPER", "BAKE" and "CONV" will stop flashing and

remain on, and the oven temperature adjustment will appear inthe
display (for this example it is 325°F). A beep will sound once the
adjusted oven temperature is reached (Figure 6).
Note: The oven iconwill showa rotating fan within thesquare with the bake
(Figure 6),broil (Figure 7) and convection (Figure 8) elements cycling inthe
display.
Press _ to cancel Convection feature atany time.
Note: Theminimum amount ofcook time using the Convection Convert
feature with a Timed Bake or a Delay Bake (Delayed Timed Bake) is20
minutes.
