Preparation
This function allows to record sound continuously from deck
A to B.
Since this unit is not designed for recording with metal
(TYPE ) tapes, do not use metal tapes for recording.
Relay recording cannot be performed if the REV.MODE key is set to “””.

2Perform auto-bias adjustment. (The bias adjustment is applied to deck B.)
1Set the relay recording mode.

1Play the music source.
2Set the record-pause mode. (deck A).
3Adjust the recording balance and record-
ing level. ^
4Stop playing the music source.
÷Press the RELAY REC key again.
"RELAY" goes off.
To cancel relay recording
"RELAY" lights up.
Make “Playback (recording) preparation”.

in both decks A and B. Select the record-
ing mode to set to "O" or "[" only.)

4Start recording.
2Play the music source from the begin-
ning.
1Press the REC/ARM (¶) key (of deck A).

÷The optimum bias is set in about 40 seconds, after which the deck
enters the stop mode.
÷Recording is possible even if the auto-bias adjustment operation is
omitted.
