Timer operations

This unit incorporates a built-in timer standby function. By using an audio timer optionally available in the market, wake-up playback and unattended recording of tape can be

22 started at any time of the day. Connect the power cords of the components directry or indirectly to the timer so that their powers can be turned on via the timer.

The timer setup operation varies depending on the timer. Also read carefully the instruction manual of your audio timer.

Preparation 1Set the power switches of the components to ON.

2Set the input selector of the amplifier to TAPE.

3Make "Playback (recording) preparation".

4Set the TIMER switch to PLAY.

÷Set the timer so that the tape starts at the desired time of the day.

÷When the set time comes, tape playback starts automatically.

÷Read carefully the instruction manual of your audio timer.
