Function of the KDC-MPV7023

You can set the display to a desired color.

1Select Illumination Color Setting Mode

Press the [FM] or [AM] button.

Select the "COL" display.

2The color continues to change gradually

Hold down on the [4] or [¢] button.

Release your finger at the color you want.

Colors adjusted using either [4] or [¢] will be stored

automatically, and they can be called by pressing [5] button.

"Display C"/ "DISP C" Demonstration.

"Display A"/ "DISP A" Normal display type.

"Display B"/ "DISP B" Silent display type.

Switching Display Type

Selecting the button illumination color as green or red.

Display Setting

"Button Green"/ "KEY GRN" The illumination color is green.

"Button Red"/ "KEY RED" The illumination color is red.

Selectable Illumination

A red indicator will blink on the unit after the faceplate is

removed, warning potential thieves.

DSI (Disabled System Indicator)

Function of the KDC-5023R

Synchronizing the RDS station time data and this unit's clock.

Display Setting

"SYNC ON" Synchronizes the time.

"SYNC OFF" Adjust the time manually.

It takes 3 to 4 minutes to synchronize the clock.

"DSI ON" LED flashes.

"DSI OFF" LED OFF.

KDC-5023R:

This adjustment can be done when the <Synchronize Clock> (page

26) is set as OFF.

1Select Clock Adjustment mode

Press the [FM] or [AM] button.

Select the "Clock Adjust"/ "CLK ADJ" display.

2Enter Clock Adjust mode

Press the [4] or [¢] button for at least 1 second.

The clock display blinks.

3Adjust the hours

Press the [FM] or [AM] button.

Adjust the minutes

Press the [4] or [¢] button.

4Exit Clock adjustment mode

Press the [MENU] button.
