Symptom Remedy/Cause
The hands-free talk volume is low. The hands-free talk volume can be adjuste d independently. Adjust i t during hands-
free talk. [MIC GAIN] of <Bluetooth Setup> (page 20).
No beep is heard at reception of an incoming
call.
No beep is heard depending on the type of your ce ll-phone. The [CALL BEEP] of
<Bluetooth Setup> (page 20) is set ON.
Voice is not recognized. The vehicle w indow is open. If the sur rounding noise is large, v oice cannot be
recognized properly. Close the vehicle windo ws to reduce noise.
Small voice. If voi ce is too small, it cannot be rec ognized properly. Spea k into the
microphone a little more loudly and naturally.
The pers on uttering the vo ice tag is not the one who re gistered the it. On ly the
voice of the person who registered the voice t ag can be recognize d.
“NO NUMBER” appears. The calling party does not notif y a caller ID. / There is no phone num ber data.
“NO DATA” appears. There is no outgoing call list. / There is no incomin g call list. / There is no mis sed call
list. / There is no phone book list. / Data is not co ntained in the phone b ook.
“NO ENTRY” appears. The cell-phone has not been registered (pairi ng).
“HF DISCONCT” appears. The unit cannot communicate with the cell-phone.
“AUD DISCONCT” appears. The unit cannot communicate with the audio player.
“HF ERROR 07” appears. The memor y cannot be accessed. Turn o ff the power and on ag ain. If this message s till
appears, press the reset button on th e control unit.
“HF ERROR 68” appears. The unit canno t communicate with the ce ll-phone. Turn off th e power and on again. If
this message still appears, press the r eset button on t he control unit.
“HF ERROR 89” appears. Update of the Blu etooth firmware ha s failed. Retr y it.
“UNKNOWN” appears. The Bluetooth device cannot be detected.
“DEVICE FULL” appears. 5 Bluetooth device have already been registere d. No more Bluetooth de vice cannot
be registered.
“PIN CODE NG” appears. The PIN code is wrong.
“CONNECT NG” appears. The unit cannot be co nnected to the dev ice.
“PAIRING NG” appears. Pairing error.
“NO ACTIVE DVC” appears. No cell-phone is connected. Connect your cell-phone before startin g voice
recognition.
The sound from the Bluetooth audio player is
discontinuous.
Another Bluetooth device is aff ecting the Bluetooth communication. Turn off
another Bluetooth device. Move another Blue tooth device away from t his unit.
Another Bluetooth device or profile is used for communic ation. The downloading of
the Phone book disconnects the soun d.
