Listening to the Radio
1 Press SRC to select “TUNER”.
2 Press repeate dly to select a band (FM1/
FM2/ FM3/ AM).
3 Press 4 / ¢ to search for a s tation.
■■The tuning mo de can be changed. Refer to
<SEEK MODE> (page 8).

Direct Access Tuning using the

remote controller (RC-405)

1 Press FM+ / AM– to sele ct a band.
2 Press DIRECT to enter D irect Access
Tuning mode.
“– – – –” appears.
3 Press the numbe r buttons to enter the
frequency.
4 Press 4 / +¢ to search f or the
frequency.
■■To cancel Direct Access Tuning mode, press
or EXIT.
■■If no operations is do ne for 10 seconds after
step 3, Direct Access Tuning is automatically
canceled.

Using the remote controller (RC- 405)

#FM+ / *AM– : Selects band.
4 / +¢ : Selects station.
1 – 6 : Selects preset station.

Changing the frequency steps

You can change the frequency step of FM/
AM.
FM : 50 kHz to 200 kHz
AM : 9 kHz to 10 kHz
1 Press and hold SRC to turn off the
power.
2 While pressin g number buttons 1 and 5,
press SRC.
Release your fingers from the buttons after
the display appears.
■■To restore the initial setting, rep eat the same
procedure.
■■When the frequ ency step is changed, the
frequencies in the memory are deleted.

Adjust [SETTINGS] mode settings

While listening to the radio...
1 Press the volume k nob to enter
[FUNCTION] mode.
2 Turn the volume knob to se lect
[SETTINGS], then press to enter.
3 Turn the volume knob to ma ke a
selection, then press to confirm.
See table below for selection.
4 Hold to finish the procedure.
