Supreme EX is Kenwood’s original sound quality enhancement technology and is used for playing CDs and audio files or for playback using components connected to a digital input terminal.

Setting Supreme EX

Press the [MODE] key.

Select “SUPREME SET”.

Press the [G] or [H] key.

z The [SPRM EX] indicator flashes while setting is in progress.

Press the [ENTER] key.

3Select “ON” or “OFF”.

Press the [G] or [H] key.

z The [SPRM EX] indicator lights when “SUPREME ON” is set and turns off when “SUPREME OFF” is set.

Press the [ENTER] key.

z The Supreme EX function operates when “D-IN” is selected with a CD or external component.

zEven when “D-IN” is selected, the [SPRM EX] indicator does not light if the input signal frequency is 96 kHz or 88.2 kHz.
