The indication changes each time this key is pressed.

1NB ON... The low range are compensated according to the volume (effective for low volumes).

2NB OFF... In the ON setting, the EX. BASS function is turned off.

Setting to OFF returns the levels of the low and high range frequencies to the levels set with the multi control knob.

Listening through headphones1Insert the headphone plug into the phones jack.

AUTO POWER SAVE function

When more than 30 minutes have elapsed after the unit in the power-ON condition was left untouched without performing recording or playback or after the MUTE key of the remote control was pressed, this function switches the power off automatically. This function can be activated or deactivated by the following operation.

Press when the power is OFF.

EX. BASS

÷ The A.P.S. indicator lights up.Each press switches the modes as follows.1APS ON..... Auto power save is used.2APS OFF.... Auto power save is not used.

÷In the TUNER mode, this feature functions only when the volume is set to 0 or when the muting is set to ON.
