In 1937, celebrated industrial designer Egmont Arens perfected the KitchenAid® Model “K” Stand Mixer, a matchless design which remains virtually unchanged to this day. The following year, Arens put the finishing touches on the world’s first electric coffee grinder for the home, the KitchenAid® Model A-9®Coffee Mill.
