Refrigerator Shelves

The shelves in your refrigerator are adjustable to meet your individual storage needs. Your model may have glass or wire shelves.

Storing similar food items together in your refrigerator and adjusting the shelves to fit different heights of items will make finding the exact item you want easier. It will also reduce the amount of time the refrigerator door is open, and save energy.

Slide-out Shelves (on some models)

■To slide out shelf, carefully pull front of shelf toward you.

■To slide in shelf, push shelf in until it stops.

To remove and replace a shelf in a metal frame:

1.Pull the shelf forward to the stop.

2.Tilt front of the shelf up and lift it slightly as you pull the shelf from the frame.

3.Replace the shelf by guiding it back into the slots on the frame and pushing the shelf in past the stop.

Shelves and Shelf Frames

To remove and replace a shelf/frame:

1.Remove the shelf/frame by tilting it up at the front and lifting it out of the shelf supports.

2.Replace the shelf/frame buy guiding the rear shelf hooks into the shelf supports. Tilt the front of the shelf up until the rear shelf hooks drop into the shelf supports.

3.Lower the front of the shelf and check to make sure that the shelf is securely in position.

Fixed Shelves (on some models)

To remove and replace the shelf in a fixed metal frame:

1.Remove the shelf by pushing up on the front of the shelf until it snaps free.

2.Slide the shelf forward and lift up.

3.Replace the shelf by positioning the sides of the shelf over the frame.

4.Slide the shelf back until the rear hooks are securely in place. Snap the front of the shelf to the frame.

Meat Drawer, Crisper and Covers

To remove and replace the meat drawer and crisper:

1.Slide the meat drawer or crisper straight out to the stop. Lift the front of the drawer with one hand while supporting the bottom of the drawer with your other hand and slide the drawer out the rest of the way.

2.Replace the meat drawer or crisper by sliding it back in fully past the drawer stop.

HIGH LOW

To remove and replace the meat drawer or crisper covers:

1.Remove the meat drawer or crisper. Press up in center of crisper glass insert until it rises above the plastic frame. Holding the crisper glass firmly, carefully slide the glass insert forward to remove.

2.Lift crisper cover frame up and remove. Repeat steps to

remove the meat drawer cover.
