1Press the Scene button.

2Press to display Scene mode descriptions. NOTE: If the Help text turns off, press the OK button.

3Press the OK button to choose a Scene mode.

Use this SCN mode		For	Camera pre-settings
	Night	Distant scenery at night.	Infinity Focus, Center-Weight Metering,
	Landscape	Flash does not fire. Place	Daylight White balance, Flash Off,
		the camera on a flat,	maximum 2-second shutter speed
		steady surface or use a
		tripod.
	Night	Reduces red-eye of people	Multi-Pattern Exposure Metering,
	Portrait	in night scenes or low-light	Multi-Zone Focus, Red-eye flash
		conditions. Place the
		camera on a flat, steady
		surface or use a tripod.
	Sport	Subjects that are in	Fast shutter speed, Multi-Pattern Exposure
		motion.	Metering
	Snow	Bright snow scenes.	Center-Weight Metering, Multi-Zone
			Focus, +1 Exposure Compensation
	Beach	Bright beach scenes.	Center-Weight Metering, Daylight White
			Balance, +1 Exposure Compensation
	Party	People indoors. Minimizes	Multi-Pattern Exposure Metering,
		red-eye.	Multi-Zone Focus, Red-eye Flash
	Self-	Close-ups of yourself.	Macro Focus, Multi-Pattern Exposure
	Portrait	Assures proper focus and	Metering, Multi-Zone Focus, Red-eye
		minimizes red-eye.	Flash
