Using the flip-up flashUse the flash when you take pictures at night, indoors, or outdoors in heavy shadows.
Make sure you are within flash range.
To change flash settings, see page20. To turn off the flash, close it.
Using the info buttonIn picture-taking mode, repeatedly press Info button to turn:

In Review, repeatedly press Info button to turn:

The flash unit must be
open to use the flash and
to change flash modes.
