Switching on continuous operation mode

jPress the safety lock-out 3 and keep it pressed.

Press the ON / OFF switch 2 in the area of the safety lock-out until the latter locks.

Switching off continuous operation mode:

jPress and then release the ON / OFF switch 2

Rotating the hand grip

jPull the mains plug out of the mains socket be- fore you carry out any task on the device.

jThe hand grip 1 can be rotated by 90° to the right or left.

jThis allows the On / Off switch 2 to be brought into the most comfortable position for any working conditions.

jPress the unlocking button 4 and rotate the hand grip 1 to the right or left.

jMake sure the hand grip 1 engages.

QMaintenance and cleaning

JPull the mains plug out of the mains socket before you carry out any task on the device.

JDo not use sharp objects for cleaning the

device. Do not allow any liquids to enter the device.

jHave the carbon brushes replaced only at the service centre or an accredited electrical equipment repair centre. The device requires no other maintenance.

jClean the device frequently; for best results do this immediately after you have finished using it.

jUse a dry cloth to clean the housing – under no circumstances use petrol, solvents or cleaning agents that attack plastic.

jA vacuum cleaner is required to thoroughly clean the device.

jVentilation openings must always be kept free.

jRemove any adhering dust with a narrow paint brush.

QDisposal

The packaging is wholly composed of environmentally-friendly materials that can be disposed of at a local recycling centre.

Do not dispose of electric tools in the household waste!

In accordance with European Directive 2002 / 96 / EC (covering waste electrical and elec- tronic equipment) and its transposition into national legislation, worn out electrical power tools must be collected separately and taken for environmentally compatible recycling.
