
CLEANING
ïIf the camera or the outside of the lens is dirty, gently wipe it with a soft, clean, dry cloth. If the camera or lens comes in contact with sand, gently blow away loose particles. Wiping may scratch the surface.
ïTo clean the lens surface, first blow away any dust or sand, then gently wipe the lens with a cloth or tissue designed for optics. Use
ïNever use organic solvents to clean the camera.
ïNever touch the lens surface with your fingers.
STORAGE
ïStore in a cool, dry,
ïRemove the batteries and memory card from the camera when not in use for extended periods.
ïDo not store the camera in an area with naphthalene or mothballs.
ïDuring long periods of storage, operate the camera occasionally. When taking the camera out of storage, check that the camera is functioning properly before using.
OPERATING TEMPERATURES AND CONDITIONS
ïThis camera has been designed for use in temperatures from 0°C to 40°C (32°F to 104°F).
ïNever leave the camera exposed to extreme high temperatures, such as in a car parked in the sun, or to extreme humidity.
ïWhen taking the camera from a cold to a warm environment, place it in a sealed plastic bag to prevent condensation from forming. Allow the camera to come to room temperature before removing it from the bag.
