10 Performing a Scan to HDD Operation
10.1 Basic Transmission1Position the document(s) to be scanned.
2Press the [Fax/Scan] key.
HFor a copier, press the [Scan] key.
3Select an index, and then
select a recipient from the
list of one-touch keys.
Specify the recipient in any
of the following ways.
HSelect a recipient by
searching for it by name.
HType in the number of
the one-touch key for the
desired recipient.
4Touch [Quality&Reduction],
and then adjust the image quality, density and zoom rati o accordin g to
the document to be scanned.
HRefer to “Specifying the Scanning Options” on page10-7.
5Press the [Start] key.
The transmission begins.
If the document is placed on the original glass:
GWhen scanning multiple document pages, continue scanning by
placing each consecutive page on the ori ginal gl ass, then pr essing t he
[Start] key.
